Five players of Division One club, Nzema Kotoko have reportedly resorted to illegal mining popularly called galamsey in Ghana for survival.
Since the suspension of the league due to the Coronavirus pandemic, clubs are struggling to pay the players.

The five players, according to the report, have been mining at Teleku Bokazo, a mining community in the Ellembele District in the Western Region.
