Diaso residents are angry with the government over a report that it is now going to take charge of their pipe-borne water.
According to reports gathered, Diaso residents use the money they generate from the sale of the water to develop the town.
The residents indicated they have been to the office of the District Chief Executive, Asiedu Agyemang to inform him they cannot hand over the control of the pipe-borne water to the government.
The DCE, according to the reports gathered has informed the Assembly members that there is nothing he can do about it.
The traditional leaders and the Assembly member of the town have maintained that they will not hand over the pipe-borne water to the government as it is the only way they can get money to do the things they want to do.
