Dr. Amo Sarpong is proud of his time at Asante Kotoko after receiving his sack letter from the club on Friday morning.
The KNUST lecturer was suspended by the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association after firing five warning shots at the Golden City Park ahead of Asante Kotoko’s clash with Berekum Chelsea.
The Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of wrongfully wielding a gun at the Golden City Park, suspended from all football activities for six months.
Asante Kotoko this morning handed the suspended Policy Analyst of the club his sack letter wishing him the best of luck in his future endeavour.
Amo Sarpong confirmed his sacking on Sikka FM and also wished the club well in the near future
“It was an interesting journey, a true call to duty, I served with all my heart and might.
“May God bless the club, the Executive Chairman, management, fans and grant us the favour to achieve greatness once again,” he said.
