Kumasi Asante Kotoko want to make Medeama SC’s Justice Blay’s loan deal permanent.
Blay joined the Porcupine Warriors on a one-year loan deal and played in the Champions League and Confederation Cup preliminary stage, however, Kotoko could not make it to the group stage of either of the competition.
The 27-year was voted as the best signing of the season by the fans of the club after an impressive performance.
According to reports, Kotoko has informed Medeama of their intention to make the loan deal permanent but Medeama has informed Kotoko to wait for a while.
Medeama denied reports they have met with Kotoko to sell him permanently a few months after he signed for the club.
Medeama emphasized that they have a 3-year contract with Blay and have only loaned him to Kotoko for a year and they expect him to return to the club after the loan deal.
