Controversial lawmaker for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that he was the first person to be at the scene of the murder of the late Abuakwa North MP J.B Danquah indicating that he saw a lady’s hair and a bloodied lady’s nightgown all lying on J.B’s bed.
According to Mr Agyapong, the police also found traces of semen in the boxer shorts the late MPs wore to bed the night he was murdered.
In his account, he was at the murder scene because a police officer at the scene called him on phone to inform him about the murder and asked him to come.
“I have called the police officer. I was the first at the murder scene, he (the police officer) is the one who invited me.” Ken Agyapong said.
Kennedy Agyapong revealed that he saw JB’s wife sister, one Sheba at the murder scene who told him J.B’s wife was not aware of the murder and she was not around.
From missing autopsy reports to witnesses recanting their testimonies after being intimidated from some quarters, a new twist has now emerged in the ongoing trial over the gruesome assassination of the late NPP MP J.B Danquah Adu.
Atta Akyea, NPP MP and current Minister Works and Housing had said he suspected contract murder from his own examination of the scenarios.
The MP who is a close friend of the deceased politician criticized the security detail at JB Danquah’s residence for being lax.
According to him, the security man saw a ladder stretched across the wall in front of the house at least an hour before the politician returned home Tuesday dawn.
The father of two entered his home and his bedroom upstairs while his family were downstairs asleep.
Atta Akyea said the security men while making nocturnal rounds saw shifty movements in the politician’s bedroom. The suspected assailant moved a curtain and closed the window.
