Reports in the media indicate that Kumasi Asante Kotoko is interested in signing two Ashanti Gold players, Shafiu Mumuni and James Akaminko, as well as, former WAFA player, Gideon Waja.
But The Post can confirm that at the moment, those players are not on the list of coach Maxwell Konadu.
The players have been linked with a move to Kotoko but reports from the club indicate that Konadu has an interest in other players.
The Post understands Akaminko was on the list, however, his name has been removed from the list.
Ash Gold’s Abdul Latif Anabila, on the other hand, is likely to join Kotoko as they have started negotiations with his club, Ashanti Gold.
Ash Gold, according to the report, has named their price and Maxwell Konadu is keen on adding the attacking midfielder to his squad.
Kotoko will also release Evans Owusu, Osei Kwame and is also in negotiation with clubs interested in some of their players.
