The CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah revealed how he would help the club get sponsors to run the club.
During his unveiling last Friday, Nana Yaw indicated that he would register one million supporters as part of his first mandate.
This move, he posited will enable him to get data to help him get sponsors for the club.
“If we have one million Kotoko supporters donating $1 each and we have one million Manchester United supporters donating $1 each, how much is each club going to get?” he asked.

“There are many Ghanaians who contribute to clubs outside Ghana because the avenue has been created for them to do so effectively”. Therefore, he will make sure he creates the avenue for Kotoko fans to make contributions to the club.
He added that one of the things he would do in the early stages of his role as the CEO of Kotoko is to launch the Kotoko Supporters Census with the aim of registering one million supporters.
With the data, he stated that “would give” Kotoko “the bargaining power” to convince any corporate entity to be part of the club.
