When it comes to being relegated from the Ghanaian Premier League, one club that will come to everyone’s mind is Accra Great Olympics.
This season, Olympics have targeted not only to remain in the league but to finish in the top four.
While some people believe the two times Ghanaian Champions will struggle to achieve their target, Oly Dade has beefed up their squad with the signing of former Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko striker, Emmanuel Clottey and are also hoping to add more experienced players to their squad.
Olympics last won the Premier League in 1974 after winning it in 1970. In 1975, 1983 and 1995 Olympics won the FA Cup and their best performance in any CAF competition was when they reached the semi-final of the Champions League in 1971.
But since the start of the 21st century, Olympics has been a shadow of their former self.
