The captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has sent a message to club administrators in Ghana.
Ghanaian clubs have always found it difficult to pay their players. While those who are paid constantly, without the exception of Kotoko, are underpaid.
The leader of the Porcupine Warriors in an interview on Metro FM at Ejisu-Krapa indicated that some footballers in other clubs in Ghana sometimes call and ask him for money.
Amos Frimpong went on to make a suggestion for the club administrators.
He believes for this to end, clubs must calculate the amount of money they pay their players a month in season. After that, there must be an account somewhere being monitored by an independent body who will then be responsible for paying the players.
However, some clubs administrators, as well as, lovers of football believe this might not work as the clubs in Ghana even struggle to get the money.
Clubs in Ghana struggle to pay the players but it is believed that these same clubs always get money and spend more on referees, black magic and also pay club administrators.
