The Champions League has thrown up a possible quarter-final meeting between Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo.
If Los Blancos get through their last 16 tie with Manchester City, they will face either Ronaldo’s Juventus or Lyon, who are still to play their second leg as well.
If Barcelona eliminate Napoli in their last 16 tie then they will likely meet Bayern Munich in the quarter-final, who are 3-0 against Chelsea from the first leg of their last 16 tie.
After dumping out Liverpool in the last 16, Atletico Madrid will take on RB Leipzig in the quarter-finals in Lisbon.
There is a distant prospect of a Clasico semi-final between Real Madrid and Barcelona after the two clubs were named on the same side of the draw.
Atletico fell on the other side of the draw and, if they beat RB Leipzig, they’ll take on either Atalanta or Paris Saint-Germain in the last four.
Lisbon will host the one-legged quarter-finals and semi-finals, starting from August 12, as well as the final on August 23.
