Woman arrested for importing fake Kotoko jerseys from Togo – report

A woman [name witheld] has been arrested in Accra for selling fake Kotoko jerseys.

According to the report, the woman after her arrest told the police she imported the jerseys from Togo and distributed them to her customers in Kumasi and Accra.

The woman was arrested after a Kotoko fan was seen wearing one of the fake jerseys during the game between Kotoko and Aduana. The fan took the police to where he bought the jersey at Kantamanto market.

The woman is assisting the police in their investigations.
