The manager and workers of Top Filling Station at Atafoah in Kumasi could not believe his eyes last week after their sales turned into papers.
According to the workers, they suspect a group of people who came in a Tundra to buy fuel to be the criminals behind it.
According to them, the driver was the one who got down to pay for the fuel. The driver told the attendant that they were in a hurry so he should ‘square’ it for him without even waiting for the tank to be full.
The attendant told the driver the cost of the fuel will be ¢ 800. The driver paid him in ¢ 50 notes and left even before the attendant finished counting the money.
The following day, the manager of the filling station went to their safe box and found out that all the money they have in the box has turned in papers.
The manager then called someone to come and check if he was sure he was seeing the right thing. The other person was also shocked to see how all the money in their safe box has mysteriously turned into papers.
The manager and the workers of the filling station believe the money they got from those in the Tundra was charmed. They, however, denied the allegation that a worker might have stolen the money and replaced it with the papers because security is tight at where they keep their money.
