Twelve African farm labourers have died in an accident after the van in were in crashed with a lorry near Lesina in Southern Italy.
Reports indicate the labourers were packed in the van which had a Bulgarian number plate. The accident happened when they were returning from the farm.
As it now, the nationality of those who died is not known and will be made known when the police finish with their investigations.
Some Africans pass through the desert, through Libya and then cross the Mediterranean Sea before they get to Italy.
Lots of people have died yet that does not deter people from the voyage.

More than 700, 000 people, since 2014, have gone to Italy using this route and their presence have increased the number of unemployed people in the region.
