16-year old kills himself because he was not placed in any SHS

A 16-year old boy at Tarkwa in the Western Region has killed himself simply because he did not get a school after the BECE.

The young man, Daniel Mensah got aggregate 47 in the BECE and indicated in his suicide letter that “I can’t stay no his earth anymore because I did not get school.”

It is not known if the young man knew those who did not get placed to any school can select a school again and get admission or not or he can enrol at a private school.

The body of the young man has been sent to the morgue after he was found dead.
