The Autonomous Premier League Advisory Committee is reportedly considering a 20-team league for the next season.
The committee was set up by the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council to “come up with modalities, processes and roadmap for the establishment of an autonomous Ghana Premier League.”

According to the report, one of the recommendations the committee will be making is the 20-team league.

The Ghana Premier League was made up of 16 teams since it started in 1993 until it became an 18-team league two seasons ago.
