A 20-year old Senior High School graduate has shot his mother after she advised him to stop being a womanizer and find a woman he can settle down with.
Augustine Armah, a playboy lived with his mother, Anti Asor, 50, at Wassa-Simpa in the Western Region.
His mother, Anti Asor who did not like the lifestyle his son was into advised him to stop his womanizing lifestyle and find a woman he can marry.
This turned into an argument between the two and Anti Asor told Augustine that he will not find a good woman until he changes his lifestyle.
Armah got angry, went to his room, brought out his pistol and shot his mother in the stomach.
Anti Asor could not survive the gunshot and died at Tarkwa Government Hospital.
Augustine is currently in police custody at Dompim and will appear before the Tarkwa Magistrate court on Wednesday, 3 October 2018.
