A 23-year-old farmer from Kentey in the Nkwanta South Municipality of the Oti Region has been apprehended by the police on allegations of engaging in sexual activities with a nanny. The Nkwanta South Divisional Police Command has stated that the suspect, identified as Kwaku Atta, will face charges related to unnatural carnal knowledge. However, Kwaku Atta has denied the accusations.
According to the police, the owners of a goat reported on Saturday, May 20, 2023, that someone had been having sexual relations with their animal. Following this information, the police were alerted and subsequently arrested Kwaku during one of his encounters. Sources from Adom News indicate that Kwaku had a history of engaging in such acts with nannies. In a previous incident, it was reported that one of the nannies he had been involved with was poisoned to death by its owners, who feared it would bring bad luck.
After the arrest, Kwaku’s pregnant wife left their marital home, feeling embarrassed by the incident. Additionally, Kwaku’s mother, Ndebechie Atta, acknowledged that her son had previously been caught in such an act. However, she maintained that he was falsely accused, as there was no evidence to support the allegations.
Kwaku Atta has been granted bail by the Nkwanta police to facilitate further investigations into the matter. The authorities will continue to delve into the case to gather more information and evidence related to the alleged incidents.
