3 students, teacher dead as school bus crashes with DCE’s car

A tragic collision involving a bus from Ampea Memorial School and a state-registered vehicle transporting a District Chief Executive has resulted in a devastating loss of life.

Reports indicate that three students and a teacher have tragically lost their lives, while numerous others sustained injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital following the accident, which occurred on the Accra-Kumasi Highway on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

The tragic incident unfolded near Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region during Thursday afternoon, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.

As the community grapples with the profound loss, distraught families and loved ones have gathered at the Nkawkaw Holy Family Hospital, where the deceased were brought, and where the injured are currently undergoing medical treatment.
