Three individuals suspected to be involved in an armed robbery have reportedly been burned alive in Moseaso, located in the Wassa Amenfi West region of the Western Region. The incident is said to have occurred on Saturday, April 15, 2023, after the suspected thieves were unable to successfully carry out their alleged robbery operation.
According to an eyewitness, Bright Agyemfra, the three suspects had attempted to rob miners in the area but were unsuccessful in their efforts and were subsequently apprehended by members of the community. Following their arrest, an angry mob reportedly set the suspects on fire, resulting in the deaths of three of the individuals. The fourth individual is said to be in police custody and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
The charred remains of the deceased suspects have been taken to the Wassa Amenfi Government Hospital, where they will undergo an autopsy and preservation.
