Apart from seeing or hearing about pregnant girls writing the BECE, another incident that is also common every year is students not being allowed to write the exam because they were not registered by their school.
This year, students of Redemption School Complex at Awutu Ofadaa at Awutu Senya West District got the shock of their lives when they were told they were not registered to write the BECE.
The proprietor of the school, Afrane Mensah did not register 34 students in his school.
The students after being told they will not be allowed to write the exams went home to inform their parents.
The students said the proprietor, Afrane Mensah, last Friday informed them they will write the exams so they should not worry.
Meanwhile, after the students were turned away from writing the exams, Afrane Mensah told the angry parents that some of the students after paying the examination spent their time ‘riding motorbikes’.
One parent has threatened to sue the proprietor for what he has done while others are angrier with the excuse he gave them.
