Ahead of the 2020 election in December, reports from Ejura Skyeredumase indicate that 400 National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters including party executives have defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to the report gathered, the 400 people are happy with how the NPP government has not ignored Edwira although they have been voting for the NDC for decades.
According to those who have defected to the NPP, over the years the NPP showed them more love than the NDC but because they were blindfolded, they did not see it. But now they are seeing the love the NPP has been showing them after they removed the blindfold.
However, the NDC has denied the report saying they are addressing the concerns of those who have allegedly defected.
