A committee has been set up to investigate the shooting incident that led to the death of 7 young men the police suspected to be armed robbers in the Ashanti Region.
The committee is made up and is chaired by a High Court Judge, a Muslim Clerk, A Christian reverend, A BNI officer and a Secretary.

The names of the committee member were not made known and it is not known when their names will be given.
Their men objective is to find out why and how the shooting started, whether the young men were armed robbers or not, were the men all in the same car and other things.
The death of the young men caused an uproar at Asawase in Kumasi as the residents believe three of those men were not armed robbers.
The committee has been given a month to finish and submit their report. But if by the end of the month or before the end of the month they submit a request for the duration to be extended, then it will be extended.
