Residents of Kumawu in the Ashanti Region last Saturday could not believe their eyes when a 60-year old woman called Ama Adoma and her 6-year old granddaughter called Grace were both found dead in their room.
Ama Adoma, who supplies local snack, “bothrot”, to retailers was living with her granddaughter.
Last Saturday, her friends went to her house so that they can all attend funerals together. When they got to her house, they saw her door locked but her snack was still on fire.
They broke into her room through her window and found the 60-year old woman lying dead on her bed. Grace, her 6-year old granddaughter was lying dead on the ground with foam on her mouth.
Though it is not clear what happened before the two died, eyewitnesses suspects Ama Adoma might have poisoned herself and her granddaughter.
Also, The Post gathered that Ama Adoma died on the same day her husband died a year ago.
