Ghana Premier League television broadcasting rights holder, StarTimes is doing everything they can to make sure Ghanaians can enjoy watching the beautiful game at home.
Before they took over, one can bet that some Ghanaian matches were telecasted with a single camera.
But now, things seem to be changing.
During the Hearts of Oak vs Asante Kotoko game, StarTimes used nine cameras and two drones to telecast the match. The increase in the number of cameras and drones made it possible for those who watched the game on TV to see more than those who were at the stadium to watch the game and The Post understand the Chinese electronic media company is doing everything possible to do more for the fans to enjoy the league.
So far, the Super Clash is the only game that the company has used nine cameras and two drones to show the match as they most of the time use one drone and six cameras to show a game.
While thousands of people watched the game on TV, over 100, 000 people watched it on the StarTimes mobile app alone.
When StarTimes first got the right to telecast the Premier League two seasons ago, it was difficult for them to go to some venues to telecast the match. The reason is that some fans were not willing to allow them for reason known only to them.
But now, the StarTimes fever is everywhere as the fans of the Ghanaian clubs are welcoming them their stadiums.
