Augustine Boadu, the NPP Polling Station chairman at Akyeremade near Kwame Danso in the Brong Ahafo Region, who a few days ago led a group of men to a police station at Kwame Danso to attack police men and also release their jailed friends from prison has been remanded.
Dan Simon and Agbasu David who are both community police and work at Kwame Danso were also remanded.
The two who come from Akyerede according to reports, were giving information to Augustine Boadu about steps the police officers at Kwame Danso were taking to arrest him.
This gave Augustine Boadu an advantage over the police as he was always able to avoid arrest at certain points in time.
Calm has been restored to the area after the arrest of Augustine Boadu and his accomplices.
The Atebubu Magistrate court presided over by His Lordship Joseph Asigri has remanded the men and they are to appear at the court on the 29 of this month.
