The clash between some policemen and some military men in Tamale has instilled fear in the residents.
Although calm has been restored as at yesterday, the residents still had doubts about the state of safety in the region since it is not the first time this has happened in the region before since the start of the year.
Yesterday, reports from the region indicated that a few police men and military were seen in the metropolis.
The clash between the two security forces was as a result of a military man who the police went to arrest for abusing his wife after his wife reported him to the police at the military barracks in Tamale.
Military men assaulted the policemen, went outside their barracks in cars and attacked other policemen who were at post.
Since this is not the first time, the residents are of the view that unless pragmatic measures are taken, the two security forces might clash again.
