The Post can confirm that work has begun on roads in Kumasi. The regional minister some weeks ago stated that work on the roads will begin.
Yesterday, work begun on roads at Manhyia to mark the beginning of the work on the roads in the region.
From now till the works are done, roads are expected to be blocked and diverted.
At the moment it is not clear when they will finish but with the state of roads in the region, it will take time for works to finish.
Anloga Junction, Airport Roundabout, Bantama, Dechemso, Abrepo Junction are among the areas which will have their roads fixed early.
According to the contractors, Asphalt overlay is what they will be doing to fixed the roads.
This is the first time works are being done on the roads in the region since the early 90s.
