Kotoko’s coach, C.K Akonnor after their game against Bechem United at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium said he was not happy with the results.
Kotoko had to come back from a goal down to end the one all after Prince Adu Kwabena had put his side in the lead in the early minutes of the game.
Fatawu Safiu came to the rescue of his side two minutes later.
Akonnor during the post-match press conference said he was not happy with the results and he believes his side should have won the game.
“I’m not happy with the result. We could have won the match even though Bechem United took us by surprise in the early minute of the game,” C.K Akonnor said after the match.
“I think they (Bechem United) were very compact in the early minute of the game. They pressed us very well. We struggled to come out of it. But we were able to create chances but today (yesterday) wasn’t good for us. We had a bad game. Kotoko has come to a level that we’ve to win every match and the fact that we drew today it’s a setback. But we’ll continue to work hard to improve.”
The draw means that Kotoko is now 4 points behind Medeama in group B of the competition.
