After losing 2-0 to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Etoile Sportive du Sahel gave a simple message to their opponents before living.
Kotoko scored the first goal through Augustine Okrah’s freekick in the early minutes of the game.
Richard Arthur made it two in the second after beating the offside trap, however, the players of Etoile du Sahel felt that goal should have been ruled offside.
After the game, some players and officials of Etoile du Sahel attacked the referee.
The team manager of Etoile du Sahel, in an interview after the match, said the referee cheated them and for that reason, some players and officials said they will be waiting for Kotoko in Sousse, Tunisia.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will travel to Tunisia in two weeks-time to play the second of the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League.
The two-time winners of the competition, Kotoko will lock horns with the 2007 Champions League winners at the 28, 000 capacity Olympique de Sousse Stadium and the team that will win on aggregate will qualify to the next round of the competition.
