Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has donated cash and some items to the Garden City Special School at Asokore Mampong.
The musician made the donation and spent the day with the children to celebrate her birthday.
Speaking to reporters, the evangelist urged Ghanaians to support the children as their teachers alone cannot take care of them.
‘I have noticed that the kids get happy when we get close to them’, she said.
Diana Asamoah also said some people do not even know that the school exit so she chose to celebrate her birthday there so that people will know about it and help the school get support from people.
Garden City Special School caters for children with autism and cerebral palsy in the region. The school has over 100 students but due to the lack of infrastructure the school finds it difficult to admit students.
The award winning musician is calling on all Ghanaians to support the school.
