Felix Annan questioned Zachariassen about his line-up before the San Pedro game – report

Kotoko Asante Kotoko started their CAF Champions League on a good note but ended it on a bad note with so many issues to solve. In their first match against Kano Pillars in Nigeria, they lost 3-2 and won the second leg 2-0.

The second-round game between Etoile Sportive du Sahel also started well as they won the first leg 2- 0. Since then things have fallen apart in the team.

Before the game against San Pedro in Cote d’Ivoire the fans of the club were surprised to see that four of their key players have been benched by the coach.

Sogne Yacouba, Augustine Okrah, Naby Keita and Emmanuel Gyamfi were dropped from the starting line-up.

Reports after the game indicate that the goalkeeper and the captain of the team, Felix Annan questioned and fought with the coach after he announced his line-up.

Zachariassen defended his selection and ended up losing the game 2-0.
