Kumasi Asante Kotoko has reportedly made a bid for Karela United player, Diawise Taylor upon the latter club’s request.
Taylor has been on the radar of Kotoko for months and some months ago it was reported that Kotoko had paid for the transfer fee of the player, however, the deal was called off as Karela sent the player to a Hungarian club for a trial.
Since he returned to Ghana, Taylor has been linked with a move to some Ghanaian clubs including Kotoko’s arch-rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.
Should the deal be finalized, the 19-year old centre-forward would join some of his former teammates at Karela who have joined Kotoko including their coach, Johnson Smith who is now an Assistant Coach at Kotoko.
