There is an Akan proverb that says “we speak to the wise child or a person in proverbs” and that is exactly what the United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson did when he gave his speech at the UK-Africa Summit.
Johnson who paid a working visit to Ghana when he was the Foreign Secretary of his country seems to have learnt some proverbs unless that was not the first time he visited the country.

Johnson used the proverb “fingers are not the same” which means we are not all equal when he was making some comparisons.
