Man uses his cloth to commit suicide in police cell while on remand

A 42-year old man, Yaw Tawiah has committed suicide in a police cell after he was arrested for impregnating his step-daughter.

Yaw Tawiah who lived at Kukuom was remanded on 3 January 2020 and was to appear before the court again on January 8.

According to the report, Tawiah was found dead in the toilet of the police cell.

His body was removed and taken to the Goaso Mortuary for autopsy.
