The match day 7 of the Ghanaian Premier League ended yesterday with 20 goals being scored.
Hearts of Oak and WAFA are the only away teams that won their match over the weekend.
Yahaya Mohammed’s impressive goal-scoring is still in his boots and his one goal against Medeama in the 76th minute gave Aduana Stars the much-needed win to stay on top of the league with 16 points after seven games.
Hearts of Oak did not let their loss to Kotoko last weekend to stop them from giving their best against Dreams FC at Dawu. Kofi Kodzi’s 55th-minute strike was all that they need to get the three points.
Kotoko, after beating Hearts struggled at home against Liberty Professionals. The Porcupine Warriors had to come from behind to get the draw through William Opoku Mensah late in the game after Tamimu Muntari had given Liberty the lead in the 61st minute.
Kotoko now lead Hearts by just three points and they are both lying on 5th and 10th position respectively on the league table.
King Faisal is now the only team yet to win a game in the league. With 4 losses and 3 draws, Faisal now lie on the 17th position with 3 points leading Ebusua Dwarfs also on 3 points on goal difference.
