The Executive Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kwame Kyei has revealed that the club will play their home matches at Adako Jachie.
The need to find a new home ground became the club’s top priority after the Baba Yara Sports Stadium was temporarily closed down for renovation.
Kyei in an interview said they are working round the clock to get the place ready for Kotoko’s next home match which is on March 1.
“Yes we want to ready the venue to host our league matches here, we are working on this, a lot is required, and our facility is bigger than even the Kumasi Sports Stadium and the Accra Sports stadium,” he said.
“We are working around the clock to get the facility ready so we can use it for league matches, but the entire project will take time, it could go for 6 months” he concluded.
Currently, Kotoko only train at Adako Jachie and also play low profile friendly games over there.
