Edward Anin, Member of Parliament for Obuasi East has laughed off the allegations by Daniel Asiedu, also known as, Sexy Dondon, saying we are not taking the case seriously.
Sexy Dondon during his last appearance at the court told the court that he was hired by a member of NPP to kill the late MP, Joseph Boakye Danquah.
The MP who finds this latest twist in the trail of the suspect said he saw a CCTV footage of the alleged killer [Daniel Asiedu] passing by after which a white car also passed by.
He said he once said this on Adom TV and a Police Commander from Police Headquarters wrote the Speaker of Parliament and he was called to give the evidence.
According to him, he showed them the footage and told them where he got it from.
The footage he said was given to East Legon Police Commander before he got it.
He went on to say that he was shocked when he saw the car because he thought the person who owns the car would have changed the colour of the car or the number plate.
Edward Anin told ABN Ghana that he does not remember the name of the car but he knows it is not a common car.
Hon Edward Anin also said this would not be happening had the incident happened in the overseas especially when Daniel Asiedu keep changing his story.
