Asantehene bans Kotoko from signing players for a year

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has banned Asante Kotoko from signing a player for a year.

The announcement was made by the Chief of Staff of Manhyia Palace, Kofi Badu during the inauguration of the Asante Kotoko board.

This move will enable Kotoko to know the positions they need to strengthen after the year as well as prevent the club from signing so many players in a season as it has been over the years.
