Max K hijacks Shafiu’s transfer – report

Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, Maxwell Konadu has according to reported hijacked Ashanti Gold SC’s striker and captain, Shafiu Mumuni’s transfer out of the country.

Shafiu, according to reports, got offers from a club in Romania and Algeria, however, the transfer to either of the club may not happen has Konadu seem to have convinced him to stay in the country.

Konadu and Shafiu worked together at the CAF’s CHAN tournament where Shafiu was the star man for the Black Stars B.

Although Kotoko has been banned from signing players by the Asantehene, The Post understands the board would do something about the ban in other to sign the player.
