Asante Kotoko and the English club, Southampton would play two friendly games, according to a report by Fox FM in Kumasi.
According to the report, the two clubs would play one game in Kumasi and the other in Southampton, England.
The Post reported that Kotoko would partner Southampton after Nana Yaw Amponsah’s appointment as CEO and now that he has been confirmed as the CEO, it is likely that the partnership would happen unless something happens.
Should this game take place, it would not be the first time Kotoko will be playing an English club in Ghana.
In 1969, the Porcupine Warriors beat Stoke City 3-1 in Kumasi.
