Asante Kotoko to spend GH₵35,000 on fuel for 10 evening games

Kumasi Asante Kotoko, according to reports, will spend at least GH₵35,000 on fuel alone for their evening home games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

According to the report, the club would spend GH₵3,500 on fuel for each of their 10 home games which would be played at 6 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile, the club will receive $5,000 thus GH₵29,175 from the Ghana Football Association-StarTimes TV rights deal. This means that Kotoko would have to add GH₵5,825 to the TV rights money if they decide to use that to buy the fuel.

However, should the Baba Yara Sports Stadium renovation finish early, Kotoko would switch to their home ground and play their matches during the day and avoid spending that money on fuel.
