The minority in Parliament has taken the seats of the majority in Parliament ahead of the dissolution of the 7th Parliament.
The minority Members of Parliament are supposed to sit on the left side of the Speaker of Parliament, however, the minority feels they have the majority in parliament, therefore, they should sit on the right side of the Speaker.
At the moment, the majority, the New Patriotic Party has 137 members in parliament, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has 136 members and one independent MP.
The NDC won 137 seats in 2020 election but an injunction has been placed the swearing in of Asin North Constituency MP.
