Kumasi Asante Kotoko wanted to sign Karela United striker, Diawise Taylor as a replacement for Kwame Opoku, however, they had to pull out as they could not meet the demands of Karela.
Kotoko, according to the report contacted Karela but Karela stated they would only sell him for $150,000 to any Ghanaian club and they are not willing to reduce the price.
Also, The Post understands Karela are willing to sell Taylor to a foreign club if they get a least a $300,000 bid for the player.
Kotoko signed Solomon Safo Taylor and Michael Vinicius on a free transfer and Francis Andy Kumi from Unistar Academy as their new strikers for the second round of the season.
