Lille secured the Ligue 1 title with a 2-1 win at Angers on the final day of the season on Sunday.
Christophe Galtier’s side had the title in their hands heading into the fixture and led inside the first 10 minutes thanks to Jonathan David’s opener.
Lille were awarded a penalty just before the break, which Burak Yilmaz converted to strengthen their grip on the trophy.
There was a nervy finish for the visitors when Angelo Fulgini netted in stoppage time for Angers but Lille held on for the victory.
Lille are champions of France for the first time in 10 years, ending Paris Saint Germain’s streak of three titles in a row.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side did their job against Brest, with Angel Di Maria and Kylian Mbappe scoring in a 2-0 win. They finish second.
