Pacquiao unable to open his eyes after loss to Ugas

Manny Pacquiao had the chance to reclaim his WBA super welterweight belt against Yordenis Ugas on August 21 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas following two years out of the ring.

At a ripe 42 years of age, the damage that Pacquiao picked up against the Cuban was clearly visible after the fight in a video that the Filipino posted online.

The video showed Pacquiao almost unable to open his eyes while his wife spoon fed him.

Ugas won the bout by unanimous decision with the judges scoring the fight 116-112, 115-113 and 116-112 all in favour of the Cuban as he continued his WBA super welterweight title defence.

Pacquiao, who has a professional boxing record of 62-8-2, was due to fight Errol Spence Jr. before the American was forced to pull out due to a retina injury.
