Taxi driver dies after his car collided with a tipper truck at Pekyi II

A taxi driver whose name has been given as Yaw Mensah has died after his car collided with a tipper truck at Pekyi II in the Ashanti Region.

The sad incident happened when the tipper truck driver on his way to Kumasi veered into the taxi driver’s lane and crashed his car.

Yaw Mensah died on the spot while five other people in his car including a two-year-old child and the mother survived the accident and have been transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital for medical treatment.
