Last night, Asante Kotoko had their bigest win in the Ghana Premier League this season after they beat Bibiani Gold Stars 5-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
When the two clubs faced each other in the first round, Isaac Oppong’s lone goal gave the Porcupine Warriors the three points after a tough game at Bibiani.
The game was supposed to be played on 3:00 pm on Saturday but Kotoko asked GFA and StarTimes to change it to Sunday 6:00 pm as it was going to be difficult for their fans to make it to the stadium since there are a lot social activities in Kumasi on Saturdays.
Last night’s game was different from how Gold Stars played when they met in the first leg. Kotoko dominated the game and with two goals from Mfegue, Boateng, Agyapong and Mbella, Kotoko had one of the easier wins this season.
While Kotoko is getting all the applauds for an excellent performance, a fan of Gold Stars in a video sighted by The Post believe the reason why they lost by that margin is because they have never played under floodlight before.

Bibiani Gold Stars’ coach, Michael Osei believes his side lost the game due to complacency.
