King Faisal may have made thier highest amount of money from gate proceeds this season.
According to the report, King Faisal got GH₵99,000 from the sale of tickets against their city rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
However, they only pocketed GH₵ 44,000 after they paid taxes on the gross amount.
Attendance at the various stadia on matchdays have been dropping over the years and the small clubs are the ones mostly affected as they only get money to run the club through gate proceeds and sale of players.
The only time the small clubs get fans to watch their games is when they are playing against Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak.
This season, only Asante Kotoko has been able to get fans to watch their games at home but even theirs is very bad as the club is struggling to fill a half of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium which has a capacity of 40, 528.
