I was hurt when Kotoko fans booed me – Asamoah Gyan

Ghana football star, Asamoah Gyan has revealed how hurt he was when he was booed by Kotoko fans last season.

In an interview on Asaase Radio, Gyan who has said over and over that he wants to play for Kotoko before he retires said he was able to get over it after the game.

“To be honest when Legon Cities played against Asante Kotoko and my own Kotoko fans booed me, to be honest that really hurt but I got over it and realised that it is all love,” he said.

Gyan, in a video posted online after the game hit back at Kotoko fans for booing him calling them hypocrites.
