Danlad rejects Black Stars call-up

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim has rejected the call-up to join the Black Stars in Japan for the four nation tournament.

According to the report, Danlad turned down the callup as Kwame Baah will be the only goalkeeper left if he joins the national team.

With two games to end the season, although Kotoko has already won the league, Danlad’s absence will affect team should Baah get injured while he is on a national assignment.

Danlad got the call-up after Richard Ofori got injured in training after the game against Madagascar.
